In “Eye of Heaven”, Peng Jianming demonstrated a particular skill of narration. First,“Eye of Heaven” inherits the narrative skill from chapter-titled novel, which is not only illustrated in chaptering, but also manifested in the construction and the premise of the story. Then, “Eye of Heaven” is based on folk narrative; its narration presented that countryman’s narrative attitude, incidental thought and intuitive narration. Eye of Heaven does not belongs to classical or folk novel, but a presence of dual breakthrough and creative reconstruction of those two types of literature.
