Mao Zedong described a comprehensive history of the Revolution in 1911 as: Revolution in 1911 was of both victory and failure; it made preparation for the new democratic revolution; and it in 1911 is a great attempt of Chinese society's development from lower to higher level as well, and it also as an important symbol of China's social progress.
