Abstract:As a female African-American writer, Toni Morrison always focuses her attention on the growth of the disadvantaged black females. Her early works, The Bluest Eye and Sula deal with the initiation inclemency of black girls, which includes the lack of initiation guide, the split of black community and the shackle of patriarchy. In this way, Toni Morrison examines and ponders on the growth of the American females and even the development of the whole black nation.
