Abstract:A kind of sealing device for sealing the bead wire I-shaped wheel with PVC tapes was introduced, with a structure of bilateral sealing being designed, and the reasonable range of the driving torque of the device calculated. A simplified model of the driving force in the transmission process was established, and the main transmission route of the force during the sealing process was analyzed. According to the tape peeling theory and the tensile deformation of the tape in the actual packaging process, the edge-sealing experiment was carried out with a stretched and deformed tape. The experimental results showed that when the elongation of the tape reached around 10%, the device could not complete the sealing. According to transmission theory, the theoretical minimum and maximum values of the driving torque required for the entire equipment transmission were calculated. Compared with the actual equipment working conditions, the theoretical results of this transmission theory design were reasonable.
