The blind pursuit of so-called “quality”, “art” and “personality” has led to many problems in current residence interior design field. “Quality” should be scientifically defined to get out of the conception of placing excessive emphasis on Hi-tech materials. “Art” should be comprehensively understood to shake off the cognition of covering up functional beauty with visual beauty. “Personality” should be dialectically treated to get rid of the idea of altering the original architectural design at will.
