Abstract:More than 1 700 entries in 2013“Chinese Liquor Creative Packaging Design Competition”reflected the mainstream trend in the current wine packaging material selection, modeling and decorating to a certain extent, namely the variety in material selection, creativity in styling, diversification in decorating. These works also reflected many issues existed in China’s liquor packaging design, such as the module design in pursuit of convenience, the ignorance of process technology, the insufficient exploration and understanding of liquor packaging culture and so on. After analyzing the entries, it could be found the future development trend of Chinese liquor packaging in the enhanced packaging interactive experience, participatory design, the use of intelligent packaging technology, attention to popular culture, exerting the leading influence of packaging culture, strengthening the fashioning of traditional elements.
