Abstract:Bilingual teaching plays an important role in cultivating international professionals in higher education. Some problems are located through bilingual teaching practice in the course of food packaging in Shenyang Agricultural University, such as lack of experience in bilingual teaching, limitation in teaching capability, the failure of students’ English level meeting the requirements of the bilingual teaching, further study and teaching methods still waiting to be explored and the slow developments in bilingual teaching materials. The countermeasures are suggested as improving teachers’ professional standards and English expression ability, exploring bilingual teaching methods and means, strengthening the construction of bilingual teaching materials in order to cultivate qualified talents for internationalization.
