The Industrial Design Department in Zhuzhou Professional Technology College has established the “Thought Tutor System” with college students according to the thought and politics education rules for college students in the new periods. Excellency principle is followed when selecting thought tutors. Thought tutors follow individualization principle and effectiveness in their work. The main idea of the thought tutor represents education environment, study guidance, psychological counseling, life coach and growth conduct. The practice of the thought tutor has improved the students’ ideological and moral education quality, reduced the school dropout rate of the students and formed a good situation in the whole department.
