The applications of CAD/CAE in the design of metal beverage cans and the molds are introduced. Using CAD/CAE in metal packaging area is conducive to optimizing product structure and forming technique, improving the performance, cutting down the R&D cost, expediting the designing course and getting the product into market quickly.
