    摘要:

    从德国包豪斯开始设计教育到五四运动之后我国引进西方设计教育理念,再到1998年教育部正式确定“艺术设计”专业,中国的设计教育经历了“图案” ——“工艺美术” ——“工业设计”——“艺术设计”的过程。当下出现了“艺术设计”“艺术设计学”和“设计艺术学”3种名称文字十分相似的专业和学科同时存在的局面,其实三者之间既有明显的区别又有一定的联系,它们的关系实质上是专业与学科的关系、实践与理论的关系、由技入道与由理入道的关系。了解三者关系,有助于教师和学生正确认识自己的专业和学科,也有助于提高学校在招生、教学、实习、科研、就业等设计教育链各项工作上的认识,为做好设计教育工作打好基础。

    Abstract:

    From design education of Bauhaus to the introduction of the western design educational idea after May 4th movement of 1919, then to the formalization the"artistic design"specialty by the Ministry of Education of China in 1998,we have experienced the phases from the pattern to arts and crafts design to industrial design and then to art design. Today there are three very similar names of specialties and disciplines coexisting among artistic design, study of art & design and design art studies. There are not only obvious differences but also certain connections among three concepts; their relationships lie in profession and discipline, practice and theory, from skill acquisition to artistic mastery and from theory to artistic mastery. Knowing their relations can help teachers and students understand the specialty and discipline, and also be conducive to the understanding of different educational chains in enrolling, teaching, practicing, researching and employment in order to lay the foundation for design education.
