Chinese drama mask is one of the most important role models in drama. Through standard and unified visual symbols, the character’s personality, age and other perceptual messages such as loyalty, treachery, the good and the evil were delivered to the audience directly, the drama mask has became an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture. The unique shape, beautiful colors and exaggerated expression of the Chinese drama mask are symbols of national characteristic, which could be used in contemporary graphic design by taking reference from drama mask art in color metaphor, pattern structure, matching of form and color. In logo design, through direct or indirect application of mask art, excellent works could be created by condensing the hidden traditional culture into post design.
