    基于准静态压缩试验,对恒密度型(UD)、对称梯度型(CSGD)和非对称梯度型(AGD)3类多层发泡聚乙烯的力学性能进行研究。结果表明:CSGD型多层发泡聚乙烯和AGD型多层发泡聚乙烯的压缩力学性能都优于常用的UD型多层发泡聚乙烯;对CSGD型多层发泡聚乙烯而言,中心层发泡聚乙烯的密度变化对整体的力学性能无显著影响,但上述性能会随上下表皮层发泡聚乙烯的密度增加而显著下降;对于AGD型多层发泡聚乙烯,密度分布变化对整体性能无明显影响。上述结果表明,可以通过调整CSGD型多层发泡聚乙烯各层的密度,特别是上下表皮层的密度,以获取所期望的压缩性能,因此可以使发泡聚乙烯缓冲包装设计更加灵活。

    Abstract:

    Compressive properties and energy absorption abilities of centrally symmetric grade density (CSGD), asymmetric grade density (AGD) and uniform density (UD) were evaluated by quasi-static compression. It was observed that the compressive capacities of both CSGD type and AGD type EPE foam blocks outperformed its uniform counterpart; for CSGD type EPE foam blocks, density variety of central layer had no discernible effect on the compressive properties and energy absorption abilities, but these properties would decrease significantly with the increase in the densities of the upper and bottom surface; while for AGD type EPE foam blocks, different density distribution of each layer only had marginal influence on its compressive behaviors. These results illustrated a good prospect that desired compressive strength could be obtained by adjusting the density of each layer of CSGD type EPE foam block, thus providing more flexible cushion packaging by using EPE foam.
