The traditional Chinese character design informed with the literati temperament are mainly embodied in terms of calligraphy, artistic signature, literary creation, etc., by which wisdom, spirituality, thought and interest of men of letters are fully reflected. Modern Chinese character designers can be fully aware of the absence of literary sense in modern design and benefit a lot from the traditional design by means of the exploration of literati.
