With the traditional tourism transformation and the rise of rural tourism as its research background, and based on an analysis of the concept of global tourism and an investigation of the dialectical relationship between the global tourism and the rural tourism, a research has thus been made, from the perspective of global tourism, on the current situation and development dilemma of Jinling Village in Dawu County, Hubei province. In view of the current problems, a proposal has been made of the corresponding optimization strategies: striving for an integration of regional resources from different spatial scales, and utilization of“tourism +”model so as to enhance tourism linkage; seeking to promote the concept of“Four Comprehensive Plus One High-standard”requirements: strict space-time continuum, whole process, comprehensive dimensions, universal participation and high quality, aimed at an improvement of tourist facilities to enhance tourism service capacity, as well as an innovation of tourism marketing management mode to achieve a sustainable development.
