On the basis of the definition and categorization of disguised redundant publication, discussed the causes and preventive measurements to reduce the phenomenon occurrence. One cause of redundant publication phenomenon is that editorial is not strict and meticulous work is not enough; two is the author itself, and this is the main reason, who usually performs multiple submissions under internal and external pressure. Therefore, the preventive measurements to redundant publication need increasing author’s awareness of academic ethics and emphasizing journal reviewer’s consciousness of responsibility.
