Proposes a conjugate gradient method and two preconditioned methods for solving Sylvester-type equation AXB+CXD=E and discusses the properties of the algorithms. The numerical experiments show that the proposed conjugate gradient method is efficient to solve large scale problems and the preconditioned methods can reduce the number of iterations effectively.
