The main problems in teaching higher mathematics for economics and management majors are pointed. The specific reform ways to improve the quality of education and teaching are put forward, which including performing layering teaching， developing mathematical modeling and mathematical experiments, teachers playing a leading role, integrating traditional teaching with multi-media teaching etc.
