Mainly analyses two soft-start modes of slope soft start and step-up start. And by the method of MATLAB simulation, compares the different start-up characteristics of the two under the conditions of different initial voltages and start-up time, thus obtains the most appropriate soft-start mode for compression motors of air conditioners.
