Preparation and characterization of nano-composite coating are reviewed and several types of nano-composite coatings are presented,such as: optical effects,aging resistance,antibacterial coating,stealth,high strength coating and so on. Then the effects of nano-TiO2,nano-SiO2,nano-SnO2 and nano-ZnO particles on the coating are introduced in detail. Finally, some problems and the further development trend of nano-composite coating are aslo discussed.
