At the end of 1950’s and the beginning of 1960’s, Mao Zedong was very busy with work, but he still advocated and read socialist political economics in person. The reasons are as follows: to learn experience of the Soviet Union and sum up the experience of China’s socialist construction; to innovate socialist construction theory; and try to correct the jumbled and wrong ideas.
