Abstract:Since the establishment of diplomatic ties fifty years ago, the development of China-France relations and the European integration have been interacted gradually, showing a certain nature of correlation. The relationship between two processes has been deeply constrained by three factors. They are conceptual factor which is reflected by facts that both France and China constantly pursued interdependence and multi-polarization in international affairs, institutional factor which is reflected by the “Europeanization” of foreign policies of member states of the European Union and environmental factor which shows the evolution of the international situation. With the further development of European integration, the future of China-French relations will maintain its strategic foundation. Meanwhile, the changes of EU mechanism and policies will also affect China-France relations.
