Due to the deterioration of the ecological environment around the world in recent years，Andre Gorz ， an“existential Marxist”，made an ecological criticism to the capitalist production mode and social system from its own unique theoretical perspective. Based on this，Andre Gorz provided us a political choice of “decentralization” technology， a lifestyle of “fewer production but better life”， and other related eco-socialist assumptions such as eliminating paid labor and promoting individual’s self-realization.
